Peas soup

"Yummy"...
Tonight I was thinking on having only soup but didn't have anything in the fridge. Luckely I still had some bacon and a few peas.

So here is what I have done:

Ingredients:
Peas soup Ingredients
  • 500gr Peas
  • 400gr Potatoes
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 Garlic clove chopped
  • 100gr Bacon diced in 4
  • 80ml Olive oil
  • 1,5l Water
  • Salt
  • Croutons
Place the oliven oil, the onions and the garlic clove into a soup pot and bring it to fried. Let it get transparent and add the bacon. Let it cook a bit.

Place the peas, the potatoes and the salt; and mix it. Add the water and let it cook during 30 minutes.

When the vegetables are cooked, take the bacon out and use the hand-mixer to cream it. Let the soup boil during 2 minutes.

In the meantime, dice the bacon. After 2 minutes the soup is ready. Serve it with the bacon and croutons.
