My Quiche...

"Yummy"

A friend of mine was coming yesterday so I decided to make a Quiche just in case we get hungry.
It is quite easy and fast to do.

I usually make everything myself, from the dough to the sauce. And the filling you can do with whatever ingredients you have in the fridge.

You should try it. Here it has lots of fans :-)

Ingredients:

Ingredients for my Quiche
  • 200gr flour (I usually use dark flour, it is healthier)
  • 125g melted butter
  • 1,25dl water
  • 100gr bacon
  • 500gr peas
  • 2 onions
  • olive oil
  • 2dl cream
  • 2dl milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 table spoon of flour
  • mozzarella cheese
  • table salt
  • white pepper
  • nutmeg
Preparation:
Preheat the oven on 200°C.

In a bowl, put the flower, the butter and a bit of salt. Knead it with a help of a hand-mixer. Slowly, include the water. In case the dough gets to soft, put a bit of more flour. After knead the dough, let it rest for 15 minutes.

My Quiche dough
Prepare the pan.

Put some flour on your working table and form a ball with the dough. Using a rolling pin, thin the dough and distribute it in the pan. Be careful to don't create holes.

Chop the onions in small pieces.

Place the oil and the onions in a pan. Bring it to fried in medium heat.

When the onions are transparent, include the bacon (also cut in small pieces). Wait a bit and place the peas. Mix it and spicy according with your taste. Spread everything on the dough.
Ready to bake

Make the cream by putting in a cup the milk, the cream, the eggs and the flour. Mix it and spread it on the pie. On the top, put a bit of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake it until it gets golden.

Guten Apetit!
