Wraps for dinner

Yesterday the idea was to make something fun, light and fast. As I seen in the bakery some Wraps, I thought, we can do that...

I can imagine that with children it is actually a nice meal to try, and actually do it a few times. It is for sure incredible for them, as they will get to make their own roll at the table, with their favorite ingredients. Our little angel didn't enjoy that part yet, but had already fun eating the wrap :-) It was cute.

The wraps tonight were having, Lettuce, Tomato, Chicken and Tuna.

Here you go:

Ingredients for Tuna:
  •  1/2 Tuna can
  • 1 little Onion
  • Spring of Parsley
  • Mayo
Ingredients for the Chicken:
  • 1 Chicken breast
  • 2 cloves of Garlic
  • A little bit of chopped Parsley
  • A bit o Butter
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • Salt and Pepper
General Ingredients:
  • 4 Wraps slides
  • 1/2 Lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes

OK, so, in the morning I marinate the chicken. Sliced it in small pieces, added 2 the chopped garlic and flavored with salt and Pepper. At the end, I watered it with the lemon juice. Went to the fridge.

In the evening, was just to put a bit of Butter in a pan and fried it. I usually fried first the chicken and when it is almost done, add the juice, it gets really tasty. But you might find it too sour afterwards, so it is your call. The moment I turned of the hit, I also added the Parsley and let it stand in the pan until serving time.

Then I prepared the Tuna. I used only one half, as it was only for us, of course than when you have a bigger family, you should also double the quantities.

My Tuna pasta has a very little secret. Here everyone loves it. I chop Parsley and Onions very finely. Then add the tuna and smash it pretty well. Afterwards, you also need to add as much mayo as you like. Involve everything together and it is done.

It is ready. In totally I spend 10 minutes in the kitchen. A record that I loved.

At the table, everyone was happy with the new experience. Which means, another meal to repeat.

Gutten Apetit!
"Yummy..."
