Lentils Hamburgers

"Yummy"...

I have already told you how we are changing our feeding habits. Today we are only having vegetarian for dinner. We figured that is tasty and furthermore we sleep much better. It is easier to digest, it is healthier.

So trying to discover new ideas for our meals, I remembered that once I have ate very tasty vegetarian hamburgers. Then, I tried to create something similar. As a result, I have made 8 hamburgers, which I thought would be enough for the next day too, and at the end of the meal nothing was left.

Ingredients:

Ingredients
  • 100g lentils
  • 1 onion
  • 100g shred carrot
  • parsley
  • coriander
  • 1 egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • white pepper
  • olive oil
In a pot, place a bit of olive oil and the onion, finely chopped. Let it fried during 2 minutes. In the meantime, chop the parsley and the coriander really finely. 2 minutes later, place the parsley and the coriander and mix everything  Leave it during 2 minutes and add the carrots.

Almost ready...
Involve all the ingredients. 2 minutes later, add the lentils that you have already cooked before. Don't worry if they get mashed, that is the point.

In case you see that it is too dry, add a bit of olive oil.

After 2 minutes, temper with white pepper and turn the heat off. Let it cool down.

When cold, place everything in a bowl and add an egg and breadcrumbs. Mix everything. Continue putting breadcrumbs until it doesn't glue to your hands anymore.

Place a bit of the dough on your hand and form the hamburgers. It should give you round about 8.
Guten Apetit!

In a pan, place a bit of olive oil and fried the hamburgers on both sides. Don't use a lot of oil and fried it until it gets golden on both sides.

:-)
It is "Yummy"...

Guten Apetit!
